The Boat: 2008 Kadey-Krogen 48’ North Sea Trawler Yacht
Ann Louise is a 2008 Kadey-Krogen 48’ North Sea trawler yacht. She is a 3-stateroom,
2-head wide-body model and is fitted with a state-of-the-art electronics suite
featuring a complete NMEA 2000 backbone and Furuno NavNet 3D system with integrated
RADAR, chartplotter, AIS, etc. Her pilothouse provides excellent visibility and
climate controlled protection from the elements. It is also an ideal navigation
and operating environment rarely seen aboard anything but commercial vessels.
Down below, the saloon and galley feel spacious and homey. From the granite
countertops and stainless appliances, to the comfortable furniture, rich teak
wood paneling, sole and furniture, the Krogen feels more like a living room
and kitchen in a waterfront home.
If you prefer to be outside, there are plenty of options. The flying bridge
offers a commanding view of all that is around you. The foredeck is a great
place to sit at anchor or underway but the covered aft deck is a favorite of
many cruisers, especially while sipping some wine in the evening after a nice
meal.
The stateroom accommodations are also comfortable. The Master stateroom
offers a centerline queen-sized bed and private head with separate stall
shower. The guest stateroom also has a queen-sized bed and private access
to a shared guest head that also features a separate stall shower. The
third stateroom features over-under bunks.
