Refunds, Cancellations & Credits

We know that situations sometimes arise beyond your control that makes it necessary to cancel your enrollment in a class. Our cancellation/credit policies are:

30 Days or more prior to course FULL REFUND (Less a $20 processing fee per class OR a $40 processing fee if Master/OUPV class or event)

11 - 29 Days prior to course CREDIT that can be applied to a replacement class of your choice within one year of the missed class. Registration in the replacement class is held on a STANDBY BASIS until 10 days prior to the class.

10 Days or less prior to course NO REFUND or CREDIT

Inclement Weather

We make every effort to hold classes regardless of weather. However, in the very rare event that classes must be cancelled due to severe inclement weather, tuition will be fully refunded. You also have the option to take a credit and enroll in another class of your choice. If you are unsure if classes will be held due to inclement weather, please call the office at (410) 263-8848 or toll-free (866) 36-YACHT. A recorded message saying ‘classes are cancelled due to weather’ will be left the morning of the class, only if classes are cancelled. If there is no cancellation message, then classes will be held as scheduled that day.

Cancellation by Annapolis School of Seamanship

Should cancellation of your course by Annapolis School of Seamanship be necessary due to unforeseen circumstances, then you will receive a full refund of your tuition. In the unlikely event of such a cancellation we will contact you as early as possible using the information provided in your registration. Annapolis School of Seamanship does not accept responsibility for travel and lodging expenses incurred.
